Eigenvalues and Markov Chains

In a world of incredible complexity...where approaching an understanding of everything seems beyond impossible, why then do we choose to create a world, a world called mathematics, in which we create laws which can never be broken, yet with values that can never be known, only guessed at. This world, how does it interact w/ that one? Do we have laws which are ubiquitous yet questions which can only be guessed at (religion, philosophy?). As there is number theory...mabye we need a existential theory; a theory examining the nuances and relationships between life, lives, and variables (conditions). What do you think?
