'O Veil of Nature

I extend my eyes, and reach deeply, grasping, panting, shrinking to the tunes and vibrations of our Earth; to the deep cycles, massive structures and intricate vistas, reminding me that though humanity might be lost, still there is nature which strives through the darkness and oppression, like a desperate blade of grass braking its way through the cold, hard concrete. To that world I venture forth. . . .
